What is the Targeted Support to CDEMA Project? The Targeted Support to CDEMA Project was conceptualized to assist with a number of crucial areas within CDEMA’s mandate, and maintain CDEMA's longstanding partnership with Canada.
Funded by Global Affairs Canada, the project aims to improve Comprehensive Disaster Management within the 19 Participating States, zoning in on vulnerable groups in disaster prone areas.
Over the past four years, Targeted Support to CDEMA Project has focused on logistical support, strengthening CDEMA’s ICT capabilities, search and rescue training, disaster relief, improved governance in disaster management and gender mainstreaming.
